pharmacies comply with the new regulations set forth by Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
CMS announced that pharmacies must have a Fraud, Waste and Abuse Prevention and Training program incorporated into
their compliance plan by December 31, 2009.
The PRS Medicare Part D Fraud, Waste and Abuse Compliance Program and Training Manual is a
CD-based program that includes a complete set of policies, procedures, and forms necessary to meet
the Medicare Part D regulations and PBM requirements. Included in this program, you will receive the following:
- Prescription Drug Benefit Manual
- How to Report Suspected Fraud, Waste or Abuse
- Whistleblower Protection
- Conflict of Interest Notification and Acknowledgement Form
- Office of Inspector General /General Services Administration (OIG/GSA) Exclusion Review Certification
- Record Retention Guidelines
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Investigation Procedures

for them to sign upon completion.
