Pharmacy First, in partnership with Health Support Systems, Inc. and Outcomes Pharmaceutical Health Care, offers network members access to various patient drug persistence and adherence support services.


The following is an overview of the necessary documents, program parameters, and protocol for the program:
  • Pharmacy must be a member of Rx$hare and will be required to sign and complete the Pharmacy First / Pleio GoodStart participation form. This form will allow participation with manufacturer sponsored adherence programs for eligible patients (typically new to therapy) within the pharmacy.

  • Each pharmacy must complete and sign a Business Associate Agreement with Pharmacy First. This form will allow Pharmacy First, Pleio, and Outcomes access to the necessary patient information to qualify them for the various programs.

  • The pharmacist must complete Outcomes training (via www.getoutcomes.com) to be eligible for open interventions in conjunction with the Pleio program. The pharmacist will be notified by Outcomes to contact eligible patients if they are late to pick up their first refill.

  • Stores will receive quarterly payment from Pharmacy First whenever your pharmacy or Pharmacy First contracted Clinical Pharmacist enrolls the patient or completes an MTM intervention.
