The Rx$hare program was first introduced to Independent Pharmacy by Pharmacy First in 1996. Today, Rx$hare handles over five million prescriptions per week for the exclusive benefit of the 5,000+ independent pharmacies within our national network. The Pharmacy First Rx$hare network is the second largest independent network in the country.

Rx$hare's market share program is based on the aggregated data of our network pharmacy’s adjudicated, non-personal health information (PHI) dispensing data. The data remains the property of the pharmacy, however, allowing our member pharmacies to share in the value it generates! With assistance from a variety of entities, we developed our ‘triangular relationship’ model, which creates a partnership with the pharmacy, the pharmacy’s software provider and/or switching company and Pharmacy First. As a result of the ground work that has been laid, Rx$hare members are able to participate immediately, with no start up cost or monthly fees for the programs and services being provided. Pharmacy First’s Rx$hare members are ready reap the benefits of membership! The right products and services offered at the right time and in the right place!

Rx$hare is a retail program designed to generate incremental revenue for independent pharmacies. This program is based on real time aggregated data from our national network and designed to expand opportunities to independent pharmacies through tangible prorams already made available to chain drug stores. Rx$hare works closely with both large and small pharmaceutical manufacturers in developing focused product programs that offer performance-driven, revenue back to the pharmacy. In essence, Rx$hare works as a “virtual chain” for independent pharmacy.

3.) After submitting the enrollment form, The required documents will be generated for your pharmacy and mailed to you. Place your signature were required and fax those pages back to Pharmacy First.
