The first program introduced (today, called the Rx$hare program) is based on the collection of a pharmacy’s non-PHI adjudicated dispensing data and the value this can generate within the pharmaceutical industry. But unlike the chains, there was no one entity to collect, assemble, and leverage this data for the thousands of independent pharmacies. Until Pharmacy First!  With great assistance from a variety of entities, we developed our ‘triangular relationship’ model, which creates a partnership among the pharmacy, the pharmacy’s software provider and/or switching company and Pharmacy First. 

Today, Rx$hare handles over 3 million prescriptions per week for the exclusive benefit of the 4,000+ pharmacies within our national network. The data remains the property of the pharmacy, and now the pharmacy shares in the value it generates!
